How You Make It

  • Fill the tall cup with the milk and microwave for 2 minutes
  • Add 4 tablespoons of vinegar and stir until rubbery clumps form in the milk
  • Leave to cool
  • Over a bowl, pour the mixture through a strainer, take out the rubbery bits and wash them under running water
  • You now have your own plastic that you can shape and mould!
  • Leave it to dry on a paper towel and then you can paint it.

Warning: The milk will be hot straight out of the microwave, so wear some oven gloves, or even better, ask an adult to help you!
