If you've got a cough, you may soon be able to use your mobile phone to find out what's wrong with you.
Scientists in America and Australia have been working on some software which will identify the type of cough you have by comparing it with a database of hundreds of different coughs from men and women of different ages, weights and sizes.
Coughs can be dry or wet, depending on if there's mucus in your lungs and this can tell doctors what is causing the cough.
The software will recognise the complex burst of sounds that make up the noise of a cough and could help save a trip to the doctors, or let you know if you need to visit the hospital.
