Imagine if your new teacher at school turned out to be a robot!
That's exactly what has happened to pupils at a school in Tokyo, Japan. Their science lesson has been taught by a female humanoid robot called Saya.
She has been created by scientists at Tokyo University of Science and can show basic emotions such as surprise, happiness, sadness and anger by using a range of programmed movements.
The robot has been made to show children how exciting science and technology can be in the real world, but it could also be used to help schools that don't have many teachers working in them.
They are working to develop the robot so that it could be remote controlled in classrooms in different schools.
